The third edition of Philanthropy Experience will be held in Salerno on November 18 and 19, becoming an important meeting point for over 100 organizations that will come together to discuss trust and change through philanthropy.
The conference will take place at Lloyd's Baia Hotel and will have as its main theme the importance of trust in improving the effectiveness of the philanthropic system.
Trust and Relationships in the Philanthropic System
The event, supported by the Fondazione di Comunità Salernitana, will explore how trust can act as a catalyst for positive change, making collaborations more stable and interventions in the territory more effective. Seven sessions and four experiences will be organized that will offer an opportunity to discuss the different perspectives of trust and its implications. During the two days, participants will reflect on crucial issues such as relational asymmetry between donors and partners, intergenerational trust, and the impact of power dynamics in interpersonal relationships. The participation of approximately 100 Italian foundations testifies to the importance of dialogue and cooperation in the sector.
Commitments and Collaborations
Philanthropy Experience is organized with the support of several foundations and partners, including Fondazione Allianz UMANA MENTE, Fondazione Milan, and Fondazione Monte dei Paschi di Siena. The initiative also sees the collaboration of entities such as ASVAPP and Impact Europe, while financial support is provided by Intesa San Paolo, Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio Salernitana, and others. The event enjoys the patronage of important associations such as Acri and ASSIFERO, while Sport for Inclusion Network is among the key patrons. The issue of trust in the philanthropic sector is a topic of international debate, as demonstrated by the practice of Trust-based Philanthropy (Tbp) that highlights the importance of trust in strategic philanthropic operations. Philanthropy Experience in Salerno therefore represents a unique opportunity for participants to discuss a possible Italian path to Tbp, exploring how to establish relationships of trust between funders and operating entities.
