He Beats Up His Son's Killer's Accomplice and Ends Up on Trial with His Friends
Today Giuseppe Turco would have turned 18. His murderer, Anas Saaoud, a 20-year-old from Casal di Principe of Moroccan origins, was sentenced to 17 years in prison after confessing to the crime.
Raffaele Turco, Giuseppe's father, will have to answer in court to charges of assault, threats and private violence. He is accused of having attacked Raffaele Di Puorto, an accomplice of the murderer and also involved in the investigation into the murder. In addition to him, three friends of his son are on trial: Vincenzo De Vincenzo, Matteo Zanettini and Fabio Loffredo, believed to have participated in the beating.
According to the Prosecutor's Office of Naples North, the attack would have been a punitive expedition with the aim of intimidating the victim, who would have been asked to remain silent. However, Raffaele Di Puorto suffered injuries that required medical treatment in the emergency room.
Anass Saaoud was sentenced under a summary trial for the murder of Giuseppe Turco, which occurred on June 30, 2023 in Villa Literno.

It is truly sad to see how violence only leads to more violence. I do not know if Raffaele Turco did well to beat his accomplice, but I understand that a father can be desperate after the loss of a son. Justice must take its course.
