The night of the raid, described as a real nightmare, lasted about an hour and a half: Giaquinto was brutally beaten, dragged along the corridor of his home and then taken to the house of his neighbors, a couple in their seventies, who were also threatened and robbed of three thousand euros. The criminals took away from the criminal lawyer's house ten thousand euros in cash, a legally held gun and ancient coins with an estimated value of around one million euros.
The investigations, conducted by Flying Squad of the Caserta Police Headquarters, have allowed the identification of a gang composed of foreigners and Italians, mostly residents of the Neapolitan hinterland and Scampia. Among the clues collected, telephone interceptions, shadowing and analysis of telephone cells stand out, which placed some suspects at the crime scene.
According to investigators, Zdravkovic played a central role in the gang: he selected targets, coordinated the activities of his accomplices, provided transportation and telephone services, and directly participated in the robberies to give orders.
Those arrested and those under investigation
The investigating judge Daniela Vecchiarelli has issued a precautionary prison order for four people and a restrictive measure for five other suspects at large, who will be questioned on December 19.
Those arrested include:
Igor Zdravkovic, considered the head of the criminal organization.

Ilaria Somma, 25, Zdravkovic's wife, in charge of the group's logistics.
Novica Djuric, 45 years old, Serbian living in Naples, actively participates in the assaults and in the management of the vehicles.
Those under investigation at large include:
David Lazic, 28 years old, originally from Agrigento and resident in Scampia, among the material perpetrators of the thefts.
Vincenzo Palumbo, 34 years old, from Mugnano di Napoli, considered another material executor.
Franko Milanovic, 44 years old, from Turin living in Naples, who provided logistical support.
Ricardo Zdravkovic, 31 years old, from Catania living in Naples, involved in the enforcement operations.
Domenico Longobardi, 20 years old, from Villaricca and resident in Naples, accused of having participated in various episodes.
Victor Giaquinto, victim of violent raid, chose not to comment in detail on the precautionary measure, expressing however gratitude for the investigative work of the police and the judiciary, which continue to shed light on such a dramatic affair.
