A rude awakening for many residents of the Campi Flegrei area, from Arco Felice to the borders of Naples: at 6:29 this morning, in fact, an earthquake shook the earth.
The epicenter was near via Cupa Cigliano, between the area of via Campana and the Tangenziale. The seismic event, located at a depth of 2,3 kilometers, was accompanied by a loud roar, clearly felt by the inhabitants of the closest areas.
THEVesuvius Observatory promptly informed the municipal administration of Pozzuoli, which invited citizens to report any damage by calling the municipal police at 081/8551891 or the civil protection at 081/18894400.
This shock is part of an intensification of the phenomenon bradyseismic which has been affecting the area in recent weeks, drawing attention to the dynamics of the volcano and the need to maintain high vigilance.
