Naples – An 18-year-old was arrested for wounding a 22-year-old on July 9 in the Materdei area during an armed clash between baby gangs in central Naples.
La Police This morning, the State Department executed a custodial order in prison, issued by the investigating judge of the Court of Naples at the request of the Prosecutor's Office, against the boy, considered to be seriously suspected of attempted murder and illegal possession of a firearm.
According to the investigations, the young man opened fire on the victim while she was riding a scooter driven by a friend in Piazza Canneto. The motive is said to be linked to tensions between criminal groups composed of young from different areas of the city. The injured 22-year-old is believed to belong to a group from the Spanish Quarters.
Investigations are continuing to clarify further details on the dynamics and possible accomplices of the ambush.
