The Teatro Mediterraneo in Naples will be the stage for the concert “Vento del Sud for Africa”, scheduled for Friday 28 February 2025 at 20.30:XNUMX pm. Organized by the singer-songwriter Shara, the event aims to raise funds for the charity project “Mulagi Mission”, which supports the village of Mulagi in Uganda.
Support from institutions and prominent figures
The initiative boasts the patronage of the Campania Region, the Metropolitan City of Naples and the Municipality of Naples. The event will be hosted by journalist Michelangelo Iossa. During the evening, the participation of well-known personalities, such as Magistrate Catello Maresca and Father Michele Bianco, will offer food for thought on themes of brotherhood and social inclusion.
Program of the event
The evening will open with the song “Time”, written by Shara, and will feature choreographic performances directed by Marco Auggiero. Tributes will be paid to Pino Daniele and Michael Jackson, with the involvement of the choir directed by Luciana Mazzone and the support of the ARCC.
Collaborations and support
The artistic direction is entrusted to Gianluca Carbone, with Claudio Murat as director. Among the musicians who will accompany the event there will be Salvatore Russo on piano and Enrico Sforza on keyboards. The evening will end with the presentation of the song “Eternamente”, with the participation of the choir and dancers of the Mart Company. The event, promoted by the Terronian Association and the I Care Foundation, is supported by several partners and covered by the media partners of Radio Capri.
