This morning the Campania Region, through Acamir, the Campania Agency for Mobility, Infrastructure and Networks, at the Menarini plant in Flumeri (Avellino) delivered 63 new buses to the regional companies Eav and Air. Of these, 35 were intended for services carried out by the Autonomous Body Volturno.
“These new methane-powered buses, 10,5 meters long, will go to the depots of Agnano, Comiziano and Torre del Greco,” explains Eav in a note, underlining that its fleet “today has about 400 buses with an average age of less than 6 years, certainly among the youngest in Italy. In 2016, there were 110 buses with an average age of over 17 years.”
The President of the Campania Region, Vincenzo De Luca, was present at the delivery of the new vehicles.
