Two young people, one a 14 year old minor and the other an XNUMX year old, were reported by the police Benevento for the theft of a smartphone from a 16-year-old girl.
The incident emerged following a report to the emergency number 113. The officers, who intervened promptly, took the victim's complaint and began the investigation. The images from the video surveillance systems present in the area of the theft played a crucial role in the investigation. By analyzing the footage, the police were able to reconstruct the dynamics of the incident and identify the two alleged perpetrators.
After an initial search without any results against the eighteen-year-old, the searches were extended to the areas surrounding his home. The stolen smartphone was found in a flowerbed, and was immediately returned to its rightful owner.
The two young men were taken to the police station for the usual checks. At the end of the procedures, they were reported at liberty for the crime of theft in competition.
