COVERCIANO – The course for football scouts organized by the Technical Sector of the FIGC has officially ended, and with it a new generation of talent scouts is born, ready to scour the fields of Italy and Europe in search of future champions. After following a 72-hour educational path, held from April 7 to 30 at the Federal Technical Center, the candidates took the final exam that sanctioned the official entry of 45 new professionals in the sector into the world of federal scouting.
Among the graduates with top marks, Alessandro Berta, now in the technical staff of Padova, and Enrico Iodice, former collaborator of Daniele De Rossi at Roma, both awarded with a brilliant 110 cum laude. No less so Guido Boldoni, data analyst at Empoli, who also graduated with 110 out of 110. A trio of aces that represents the most promising and prepared face of this course, aimed at training increasingly central figures in modern football, where intuition and analysis count as much as talent on the pitch.
The new Observers – among whom we highlight figures already included in the technical staff of professional clubs and emerging profiles of Italian football – have been trained with an intensive, theoretical and practical program, designed to refine skills in the tactical, technical and statistical fields. The objective is one: to be the first to find the next champion.
