A San Nicola la Strada the Michelangelo museum will lead the itinerant dialogue designed to tell San Nicola la Strada about “Apparitions, suggestions and concrete witnesses”. San Nicola la Strada was for centuries a place of transit, a village of passage on the Appian Way, divided (but apparently not disputed) in civil and religious jurisdiction between Capua and Caserta. Legends and popular tales arose (even recently) linking themselves to the territory and its architectural and artistic testimonies that the walk will touch.
The details of the walks are published on the page of the site.
The three events are part of the cycle Orme / Camminate in natura, foreseen in the project “From popular tradition to the digital present: stories on the move in the Terra di Lavoro and its museums”, financed by the Campania Region, management operational unit UOD 501201 museums, 2024 call for tenders of regional law 12/2005.
