Fthe final appointment has been set at the Karol Theatre in Castellammare di Stabia for the last theoretical lesson on Carlo Acutis and for the award ceremony for the most deserving students from Castellammare di Stabia
The final evening of the training course curated by the Centro Studi Padre Baldassare Califano, promoted by the cultural association of the same name, on the occasion of the 14th anniversary of its foundation, will be held on Saturday 2025 June 40, at the Teatro Karol in Castellammare di Stabia.
The event will begin at 19.00:XNUMX p.m. and will be divided into several moments that will combine spiritual reflection, cultural study and commitment to the new generations. After the initial greetings, the theoretical lesson entitled "At the service of culture" will take place, moderated by Don Catello Malafronte and featuring as guest protagonist HE Domenico Sorrentino, bishop of Assisi - Nocera Umbra - Gualdo Tadino and Foligno.
The subject of the discussion will be Carlo Acutis, blessed of the Catholic Church who has virtuously transmigrated his faith in the use of social networks. An opportunity to open a current look at the relationship between spirituality and digital tools, in the wake of the legacy left by Acutis to the Church and to young people.
It will be followed by the award ceremony for the students of the Study Center who participated in the competition. The most deserving will be awarded a scholarship. The cultural foundation fervently believes in the edifying power of study and culture and intends to support the young people of the area both with theoretical and laboratory courses and with economic and concrete support to finance school and university study courses.
The benefactors of these scholarships are the magistrate Antonino Elefante, in memory of Father Baldassare Califano; the notary Matteo D'Auria, in memory of Catello D'Auria, notary of the Republic; Professor Nunzia Elefante, in memory of Agostino Elefante, president of the Council of State; Don Giuseppe Cartesio and Dr. Francesco Di Martino.
The “Padre Baldassarre Califano” Study Center thus renews its educational and social commitment, confirming itself as a point of reference for the cultural and spiritual formation of young people from Castellammare di Stabia, in the name of a living tradition that looks confidently to the future.
