Brusciano – There is alarm on the Naples-Baiano section of the Circumvesuviana, in particular at the Brusciano station, which has long been reported as one of the most degraded and dangerous among those managed by Eav.
The complaint, sent to theEav, to the Prefecture of Naples, to the Judiciary and to the police forces, photographs a situation that is now out of control: increasing thefts, total absence of surveillance during the night and on holidays, and the constant presence of individuals engaged in illicit activities.
“The area has become a haven for criminals who choose the station to commit crimes of all kinds,” we read in the note. A context that generates strong concern in the community, also due to the proximity of a sports center frequented by families, children and young people, potentially exposed to concrete dangers.
Citizens are asking for an extraordinary security plan: immediate installation of video surveillance systems, remote alarms, regular patrols by the police and periodic control posts near the station. The request is clear: "We need a strong and concrete response from the institutions to restore tranquility to residents and guarantee the safety of the entire area".
The case of the Brusciano station thus becomes emblematic of the critical issues that affect many stops on the Circumvesuviana, especially in the peripheral sections, where the lack of controls has left the field open to degradation and illegality.
