Preview in Afragola: Memory and Commitment in the Land of Fires
On June 8th at 11:XNUMX, at the Masseria Ferraioli in Afragola, a property confiscated from the Camorra, a symbolic preview will be held: the planting of two olive trees and the placing of a plaque in memory of the Land of Fires. A concrete gesture accompanied by the participation of organizations such as Stop Biocidio, ISDE – Doctors for the Environment, Greenpeace, Guerrilla Planting and Wau, in addition to the local community that has always been involved in the project.
June 18th at the Royal Palace: Art, Environment and Social Justice
The heart of the event will be on Wednesday 18 June (21 pm) in the evocative Cortile delle Carrozze of the Royal Palace of Naples, with an evening dedicated to music, ecology and civil commitment. From 18 pm onwards, free educational activities will begin, in anticipation of the big concert. This year, the central theme will be the female dimension of environmental activism, celebrated through the bond between women and Mother Earth.
25 Years of Eco-Music: Capone & BungtBangt Celebrate a Milestone
The 2025 edition also marks the 25th anniversary of Capone & BungtBangt, European pioneers of eco-music, who have been building musical instruments from recycled materials since 1999. Their music has always been a vehicle for denunciation and change, anticipating issues that are now at the center of global debate. Since the first edition in 2009 in Bagnoli with 5.000 participants, the event has grown to become a model of participation and ecological rigor, supported by Greenpeace, Legambiente, Amnesty International and many other organizations.
Workshops, Music and Activism for All
On the afternoon of June 18, the public will be able to participate in the workshop “Tu Come lo Fai? Bring your recycled instrument!”, led by Capone. The protagonists will be about thirty children from Naples’ primary schools and Ukrainian refugee children, who will perform in a musical performance.
A collective jam session is also planned, open to the public, who can participate with recycled instruments. Some of these instruments, made of recycled steel thanks to the contribution of the Consorzio Ricrea, will be distributed to participants.
Pedaling towards Change: Sustainable Mobility in Naples Pedala
In line with the green spirit of the event, the public is invited to reach the Royal Palace by bicycle. The Napoli Pedala association will organize a cycling rally that all citizens can join. A concrete way to promote a lifestyle with low environmental impact.
A Sustainable Village in the Heart of Naples
Throughout the day, an area dedicated to environmental and civic associations such as WWF Napoli, Sii Turista della Tua Città, Amnesty International, Legambiente and La Comune will be active. There will be artisans and recycling artists, sensory paths and educational workshops for adults and children**. A real ecological village open to citizens.
The Concert “Femmena, Vita e Libertà”: Music that Gives Voice to Women
At 21 pm, the most anticipated moment: the concert “Femmena, Vita e Libertà”, dedicated to women who fight for civil rights and environmental protection. On stage, Capone & BungtBangt and numerous artists and activists will tell stories of resistance, courage and dignity through music.
The performance will be accompanied by live painting by artist Trisha Palma, in a multisensory experience that aims to awaken consciences and unite art and militancy.
Conclusion: When Culture Changes the Rules of the Game
“Come Suona il Caos” is not just a music festival, but a cultural and political project that transforms participation into activism, music into an instrument of change, and the public into a conscious community. A concrete example of how culture can be a driving force of revolution, in the name of sustainability, justice, and beauty.
