Two nights of music and two days of intense controls around the Maradona stadium. On the occasion of Gigi D'Alessio's concerts, the Naples Local Police launched a large-scale operation that led to seizures, reports and over one hundred fines for violations of the Highway Code.
The toll is far from light: alcoholic beverages and unauthorized gadgets confiscated, illegal parking attendants fined and reported, and more than one hundred vehicles towed for illegal parking. The intervention of the police did not stop at traffic. During the checks, an Italian citizen was reported for threatening and resisting a public official, while in collaboration with the Arpac staff, phonometric surveys were also carried out to monitor the acoustic impact of the event.
A massive operation that confirms the intention of the Municipality of Naples to guarantee order and security even during large public events. The Maradona, during the nights of the concert, was the stage not only for Gigi D'Alessio's show but also for the institutions' zero tolerance against illegality and urban disorder.
