The extraordinary services deployed by the Naples Police Headquarters to curb drug trafficking in the city continue without stopping. Yesterday morning, State Police officers arrested a thirty-year-old Neapolitan with a specific drug record, caught red-handed during an illicit transfer.
The event occurred in Capuano Square, where the men of the Vicaria-Mercato Police Station, engaged in a territorial control service, noticed a suspicious exchange between two people. At the sight of the Police, the pusher tried to flee, but was caught after a fight that required decisive intervention.
In the buyer's pockets, the officers found four packages containing crack, as well as 95 euros in banknotes of various denominations, carefully hidden. The arrest represents a new blow to the drug dealing network that continues to rage on the streets of Naples, the result of constant and determined activity by the police to restore safety and legality.
