

Comiziano: 66-year-old worker dies after falling 5 meters
Comiziano – Carmine Spirito, the 66-year-old worker who fell from a scaffolding structure in Comiziano, in the Nolana area, died late this morning. He died at the Ospedale del Mare in Naples from the serious injuries he sustained on impact.
According to initial reports, the victim was carrying out renovation work on the municipal sports hall when, for reasons yet to be determined, she and a colleague fell from a height of approximately five meters.
The latter, Bruno Sirignano, born in 1969, suffered multiple injuries to his legs and is currently hospitalized in Nola; his condition is serious, but his life is not in danger.
Carabinieri officers from the Cicciano station and members of the Labor Inspectorate Unit (NIL) responded immediately to the scene of the accident. The officers, coordinated by the competent Public Prosecutor's Office, placed the construction site under lockdown and launched an investigation. Investigators are examining the validity of the two workers' contractual obligations, reviewing all company documentation, and verifying compliance with workplace safety regulations.
