During intensive checks, the Naples Local Police seized two illegal constructions on municipal land in the Soccavo and Pianura neighborhoods. One arrest was made on drug charges during a joint operation with the Carabinieri.

Naples: 12 businesses suspended for public land and noise violations: major operation in Chiaia and the Spanish Quarters.
Naples – A new blow to illegal construction was dealt yesterday in the western neighborhoods of Soccavo and Pianura thanks to a targeted intervention by the Naples Local Police . Law enforcement discovered and seized two structures erected without authorization on municipal land, confirming the authorities' ongoing commitment to combating the illegal occupation of public spaces.
The first seizure occurred on Via Catone, where officers intercepted a structure under construction without the necessary permits. A concrete swimming pool, also illegal, was also being built on the surrounding land.
Subsequently, another illegal structure was discovered on Via Torricelli, during a joint operation with the Carabinieri of the Pianura station. During a search of the structure, law enforcement officers found over 220 grams of narcotics, which led to the arrest of the occupant.
These operations are part of a broader effort to combat illegal building and widespread lawlessness, with the aim of protecting the territory and ensuring compliance with urban planning and environmental regulations.
