Castellammare di Stabia: Manhunt for hit-and-run driver who struck pregnant woman

Castellammare di Stabia – The hunt is on for the hit-and-run driver who hit a pregnant woman this morning and fled without providing assistance.

The young woman was helped by some passersby who alerted emergency services. She was then transported by ambulance to San Leonardo Hospital in Castellammare.

Carabinieri from the local police force also arrived at the scene of the accident and immediately interviewed several witnesses and launched a search for the car and its driver.

The young woman's life is not in danger. Doctors are also evaluating the child's condition.
