Vico Equense – "Hope sustains the passing of time. Today marks 30 years without you." It was August 10, 1996. Thirty years later, the hope of finding Angela Celentano remains for her family.

The anniversary of her disappearance was commemorated with a touching post on the Facebook page dedicated to the little girl who vanished into thin air during a family picnic. Over this long period of time, investigators have lit countless glimmers of hope into her disappearance.

Numerous hypotheses have been put forward, from her kidnapping to her death, and numerous theories about her current existence in South America. Dozens of DNA comparisons have never yielded the desired results for the family, who remain convinced that Angela is still alive. The fact remains that despite years of investigations, Angela Celentano appears to have vanished into thin air.

The post: We're still here, hoping and believing that everything will end. See you soon, Angela.

To commemorate the anniversary, the family wrote a long post on the dedicated page: “August 10, 1996 – August 10, 2026. The years pass and can wear away our strength, our thoughts, and mark our skin… but never our hope,” it reads. “That hope that makes no noise, that keeps every possibility alive and sustains the passing of time.

Today marks 30 years without you. 30 years in which the certainty of embracing you again has never wavered. We don't need dates to remember you because you are not an anniversary, but every day that passes is just another day without you. You are in our hearts and in our thoughts every day, and today, just as since August 10, 1996, our goal is always to be able to reach you, wherever you are. It may seem crazy... But we are still here, hoping and believing that sooner or later all this will end. See you soon, Angela. Your family.
