Naples and Campania weather today, August 30: temperatures peaking at 36 degrees.

Naples – The last Sunday of August brings a sunny and warm day to Campania, with an initial, albeit modest, drop in temperatures after the intense heat that has affected the region in recent days. Forecasts are consistent with stable weather, with favorable conditions especially along the coast.

Clear skies and a high of 34 degrees in Naples

In the Campania capital, the day will be characterized by clear or partly cloudy skies. According to the latest forecasts, the minimum temperature will be around 24-26°C, while the maximum will reach 33-34°C in the central hours. No precipitation is expected.

Weather forecasters predict a progressively warmer morning, with temperatures around 31°C at 10 a.m. and rising to over 32°C later in the day. In the afternoon, the sky may become slightly cloudy, but without significant weather.

In Campania, maximum temperatures will reach 35-36 degrees.

The regional picture will be largely uniform: sunny and stable across much of the country, from coastal areas to inland. High temperatures will generally range between 30 and 35°C, with peaks of up to 36°C in the Naples and Benevento hinterland.

3BMeteo also confirms a Sunday dominated by high pressure, with clear or partly cloudy skies across the entire region. The heat will remain particularly intense in the inland areas of Campania.

Light winds, some strengthening in the afternoon

Winds will generally be light and variable, shifting from the west during the central hours of the day. Stronger gusts may occur in the Campania region, locally reaching 40-50 kilometers per hour.

Overall, conditions will be favorable for those spending Sunday at the beach. The waves will generally be moderate, with occasional roughness, with some variations between different stretches of coast.

Heat still to be kept under control

The drop in temperatures from the peak of the previous days will therefore be limited. The Ministry of Health is maintaining the yellow warning, level 1, in Naples for Sunday, with a forecast of 34°C at 2:00 PM and a perceived temperature that could reach 37°C. The heat wave warning remains in effect until 8:00 PM.

For this reason, especially during the hottest hours, it is advisable to limit direct exposure to the sun, drink regularly, and pay particular attention to children and the elderly.

Further decline from Monday

The trend for the beginning of next week points to a further drop in temperatures. In Naples, on Monday, August 31st, highs are expected to drop to around 32°C, though conditions will still be mostly sunny.

In summary, for today: mostly sunny, no rain, still intense but easing heat, highs up to 34°C in Naples and peaks of 35-36°C in inland Campania. An ideal day for the beach, but caution is advised during the midday hours.
