The prevention days promoted by the ASL Napoli 1 Centro are back, with a new addition: Sunday appointments are now available in addition to Saturday appointments. The goal is to simplify access to healthcare services and encourage greater citizen participation.
Doctors, nurses, and workers from the Health Districts will be aboard the mobile clinic from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., in the city's squares and neighborhoods, bringing prevention activities directly to the local area.
This weekend, the medical truck will stop on Viale della Liberazione, in the area adjacent to the former NATO base. During the days, you can take or book free access to some of the main cancer screenings: mammograms, Pap tests, HPV tests, and colorectal cancer screening kits.
Access to these services will not require a doctor's referral or an appointment. The initiative is part of the program to strengthen community health and active prevention promoted by the Strategic Directorate of ASL Napoli 1. "Early prevention must be done locally" is the guiding principle behind the project.
The goal is to bring healthcare services ever closer to citizens, reducing the difficulty of accessing screening and promoting early diagnosis.
