Bribes: 10 Leonardo managers and two Google companies investigated.
I military personnel from the economic-financial police unit of the Guardia di Finanza of Milan have acquired documents from Leonardo's offices in Rome and Pomigliano d'Arco, as part of an investigation by prosecutor Gaetano Ruta into money laundering, tax crimes and corruption between private individuals. This last crime is being investigated by ten managers of the Group, which is the injured party.
In the investigation, which involves a total of 14 individuals and three legal entities, Google Ireland and Google Payments are also under investigation, including 10 managers of Leonardo, and three legal entities. Among the positions of the companies investigated for the law 231 on money laundering is also that of Google Ireland and Google Payment.
