Naples, 54 Covid fines: 3 foreigners for Erasmus fined for being on the street at night.
CThe activity of the Carabinieri of the Provincial Command of Naples continues in controlling the territory and verifying compliance with the anti-contagion regulations.
Yesterday, a total of 54 fines were issued in the city. Many of these to people who were not wearing masks. Among the curfew violations was that committed by 3 foreign students, in the city for the “Erasmus” project.
The Carabinieri of the Borgoloreto station received a report from the operations center. Loud music was coming from a basement on Via Gasparrini, presumably a party was underway. When the military arrived on the scene – it was around 2 am – a group of boys disappeared. Two twenty-year-old Spanish men and a Belgian girl remained on the street.
They were unable to justify their presence on the street beyond the permitted time and were fined. Checks will continue every day.
