The mayor of Maddaloni Andrea De Filippo, tested positive for Covid. The mayor underwent a swab test as part of the screening carried out after the two cases of contagion emerged at the technical office.
OIn addition to De Filippo, another municipal employee has tested positive. At the moment, there are three positive cases in the Municipality. Mayor De Filippo is asymptomatic and has already placed himself in home isolation.
It is not excluded that today the mayor Andrea De Filippo (or his delegate) may order the closure of the offices for sanitization.
Positive cases have also been confirmed among the employees of the municipal technical offices located in via Bixio, so much so that the manager Fortunato Cesaroni has ordered the closure to the public "as a precautionary measure, until March 8. From Tuesday March 9, it will be by appointment only".
