Naples, Vomero district: 64-year-old with no criminal record hid almost 3 kilos of drugs and money in his home. Carabinieri arrest unsuspecting pusher.
The Carabinieri of the Vomero operational unit arrested a 64-year-old local man with no criminal record for possession of drugs for the purpose of dealing.
The military noticed too many people hanging around an apartment on Via Don Luigi Sturzo and decided to check it out.
After searching the home of the unsuspecting 64-year-old, the Carabinieri found and seized 23 blocks of hashish for a total weight of 2 kilos and 200 grams, 3 bags containing marijuana for a total weight of half a kilo, various materials for packaging drugs and a precision scale. The cash sum of 8 euros was also seized because it was the proceeds of the crime. The arrested person was placed under house arrest pending trial.
