Recovery, D'Anna (Biologists): “Minister Cingolani should convene professional orders”
ROME. “Two days ago, in the presence of the Minister for Ecological Transition Roberto Cingolani, the 'Fourth Report on the State of Natural Capital in Italy' was presented, from which a strategic vision emerged focused on sustainability policies, reduction of hydrogeological and wind instability and conservation of forests and river areas. A report, to use the words of the minister himself, 'aligned with Recovery plan and European directives'. Well: what is Cingolani waiting for, then, to convene the professional orders before deciding what to do?”.
Senator Vincenzo asked himself this question D'Anna, president of the National Order of Biologists, according to whom "before making systemic choices regarding the circular economy or the funds to be allocated to the Recovery Fund, Cingolani would do well to consider more deeply the problems linked to the environment, in particular those of the Land of Fires, related pathologies, widespread infertility due to epigenetic causes".
“We invite Cingolani – continued D'Anna – to convene as soon as possible those who, like the professional orders, and in particular ours, which is a preponderant and integral part of the activity of safeguarding the environment and the health connected to it, on these issues, will be able to illustrate the existing critical issues”. “To this day, in fact, two months after his installation, we are still waiting to be able to have our say” concluded the representative of the Italian Biologists.
