Naples. Robbery in the Central Station: three men arrested who had robbed a young man in the night.
The personnel of the compartment of the railway police arrested three men accused of aggravated robbery.
The three Italians, two thirty-five year olds and one thirty-three year old, all with numerous police records and no fixed abode, threatened a 34 year old Neapolitan during the night in Piazza Garibaldi, forcing him to hand over the sum of 130 euros. The victim turned to the police officers on duty at the Naples Central Operations Sector, providing a detailed description of the robbers, on the basis of which a quick investigation was started that allowed the authors of the robbery to be identified, already known to the police, who were then recognized by the victim.
By order of the public prosecutor, the three arrested were transferred to the Poggioreale prison.

On the same day, during surveillance services inside the Naples Central Station, the agents recognized and arrested a 65-year-old man originally from Pakistan, in execution of a custodial order issued by the investigating judge at the Court of Latina.
The man, last December, on board a regional train on the Rome-Naples route, had robbed a citizen of Sri Lanka. After having made him drink a drink in which a soporific substance of the benzodiazepine type had been added, he had stolen the sum of over 1.400 euros.
The police investigations, also thanks to the images of the video surveillance system, allowed them to identify the foreigner who was tracked down at the station in Naples yesterday and arrested.
