Marcus Birks, British rapper known for his positions No Vax, died at the Royal University Hospital in Stoke, where he was in intensive care following a Covid infection he contracted in early August.
His positions had changed during his hospitalization, so much so that Birks, 40, one of the two leaders of The Chameleonz, had started inviting people to get vaccinated. The musician had told the BBC that he was “shocked” by the effects of Covid because “he rarely got sick”.
And it was precisely for this reason, for feeling strong and invincible, "that you start listening to that stuff", thus describing the anti-vax positions.
