In Castel Volturno, fines for 40 traders on separate waste collection. The municipal police take a hard line to ensure compliance with separate waste collection. About 40 fines and two reports to traders is the result of the high-impact commercial operation carried out by the municipal police command led by Commander Domenico De Simone.
The local police are targeting commercial businesses, especially in the Pinetamare area, that have violated the indications provided by the collection calendar. Two businesses have been reported because their solid urban waste contained non-hazardous special waste that did not comply with the prescribed disposal regulations.
Operations aimed at combating violations of the provisions regarding separate waste collection will continue throughout the territory of Castel Volturno thanks also to the use of three new agents of the Castellana local police. The controls will be intensified by order of the municipal administration which aims to bring the collection back to 65%. A delicate issue that of waste disposal and collection which absorbs a large part of the budget of the Authority.
