With a note released by the lawyer Dario Carmine Procentese, the family of Antonio Felli, accused of the murder of Gianluca Coppola, which occurred last April 8th in Casoria and for which the first hearing will be held before the First Section of the Court Court of Assizes of Naples, distances itself from the videos that have been circulating on social media in the last few hours and which have raised positions and controversies.
“After learning from numerous newspapers that several celebratory videos of Antonio Felli have been published on the well-known social network Tik Tok – the lawyer specifies in the note – Felli's family, indicated as probable responsible for the diffusion of such videos (via fake accounts) – promptly contacted the undersigned to represent that the Felli family intends to distance itself from such reprehensible conduct and at the same time to undertake all legal actions against those responsible for the creation and diffusion of the videos and all those who have commented on and shared such content”.
Attorney Procentese also represents “the desire of the accused's family to be discreet and confidential and to censor the media exasperation fueled by the dramatic affair, which could have a negative impact on the serenity of judgment in an objectively complex trial but above all ends up nullifying the procedural conduct of Felli, who first immediately admitted his responsibilities and then provided a useful contribution during the investigations – allowing the District Anti-Mafia Directorate to find the crime weapon – showing deep remorse for the gesture committed”.
