Covid infection continues to rise in Italy

There were 53.825 new Covid cases in Italy in the last 24 hours, when yesterday there were 53.127 and last Saturday 39.963.

According to the daily bulletin of the Ministry of Health, 24 swabs were processed in the last 417.777 hours (yesterday 425.638) with a positivity rate that rose from 12,5 to 12,9%. deaths there are 133 (yesterday 156), the total victims since the beginning of the pandemic 156.782.

Hospitalizations are still decreasing: intensive care is 14 less (yesterday -18) with 40 admissions today (yesterday 35) and the total number reaches 513, while ordinary hospitalizations decreased by 40 units (yesterday -140), for a total of 8.234.
