Terzigno, 16 blocks of hashish discovered in a field. “High impact” checks by the Carabinieri of the Torre Annunziata company in the municipality of Pompei.
Thanks to the collaboration of NAS military personnel and SIAE inspection personnel, 58 people were identified and vehicles and commercial activities were inspected.
Vincenzo Curcio, born in 61, arrested in execution of a prison order issued by the Torre Annunziata Prosecutor's Office, was arrested. He will have to serve 2 months of house arrest as a residual sentence for the crime of possession of drugs for the purpose of dealing.
The doors of Poggioreale prison opened for Sergio Panariello (born in 1957). He was arrested in execution of a provision issued by the Court of Appeal of Turin for continued usury.
During the operation, 16 blocks of hashish were seized from unknown persons: almost a kilo and a half of the drug hidden in a piece of land in Terzigno.
Great attention also to commercial activities. The owner of a bar in Boscotrecase was fined over 3500 euros for failure to track food products and failure to fill out HACCP self-control sheets. Ten kilos of food were seized because they were poorly preserved.
Of the 6 public places checked in the municipality of Pompeii, 2 were fined for violating copyright laws.
Three people reported to the Prefecture. Checks will continue in the coming days
