Caserta: destroys vast area of a forest and then loads a quintal of wood onto the SUV: reported for the crimes of theft and damage to state property.
Soldiers belonging to the Pietramelara Forestry Carabinieri Station, as part of the “safe forest” control campaign, carried out, together with the municipal technical bodies, went to the “Castello” area of the municipality of Dragoni (CE), where they found a theft of wood that was being carried out in flagrante delicto, by a sixty-one year old local man, to the detriment of the state-owned forest owned by the Municipality of Dragoni.
The man was caught loading wood obtained by cutting and felling trees of forest species rooted there into the compartment of his off-road vehicle.
Having ascertained the above, the aforementioned military personnel proceeded to seize the chainsaw used to carry out the illegal cutting of the forest trees, the off-road vehicle used to transport the wood, a billhook and approximately 1 quintal of the stolen wood.
FC was reported at liberty for the crimes of theft and damage to state property.
