There were 48.255 new cases of Covid in Italy in the last 24 hours, compared to 47.039 yesterday and, above all, 69.204 last Thursday.
The swabs processed are 327.178 (yesterday 335.275) with a positivity rate that rises from 14% to 14,7%. deaths there are 138 (yesterday 152): the total victims since the beginning of the epidemic thus rise to 164.179.
Hospitalizations are decreasing: intensive care is 2 less (yesterday +5), with 32 admissions today, and is down to a total of 369, while ordinary hospitalizations there are 230 fewer (yesterday -81), and there are 9.384 in total. This is what emerges from the SNOW daily newspaper of the Ministry of Health.
The region with the highest number of cases today is the Lombardia with 6.362 infections, followed by Veneto (+5.344), Campania (5.112) Emilia Romagna (+4.041) and Lazio (+3.951). Total cases since the beginning of the pandemic they rise to 16.682.626.
I discharged / healed of the last 24 hours are 70.523 (yesterday 60.381) for a total that rises to 15.282.800. The currently positive are 21.946 fewer (yesterday -12.890), dropping overall to 1.165.124. Of these 1.155.371 are in home isolation.
