Marzano Appio. “God Dog” reads one of the inscriptions made with black paint on a tomb inside the village cemetery. A crucifix was completely painted black.
The action – which took place a few days ago – was carried out during the night when some people, still unknown at the moment, entered the village cemetery. Once inside they defaced several tombs with some writings and drawing esoteric symbols.
Probably the same group used the same treatment at the Annunziata church. Here too, esoteric writings and symbols. The discovery was made by some citizens who informed the municipal administration. The mayor of the town, Antonio Conca, filed a complaint with the local police station, which carried out the necessary inspection.
The priest of the village, who should have been the first to inform the authorities, is silent. The hypotheses being examined by the investigators are essentially two: an act of vandalism, perhaps by some "bored" group of young people; or it is Satanism. The Carabinieri will try to explain the incident and identify the culprits.
