Pomigliano. A 17-year-old boy was wounded in the leg by a gunshot last night along the state road 162 of Vesuvius in the municipality of Pomigliano.
Treated at the Villa dei Fiori clinic in Acerra, he told the State Police that he was riding a motorcycle along the state road when he was approached near the Pomigliano Sud junction by another two-wheeled vehicle with two strangers on board who ordered him to stop and hand over his motorcycle.
Il 17enne he sped away, hearing a gunshot; later he realized he was wounded and went to the clinic. He will recover in a week.
The police are verifying the version provided by the injured boy by also checking the video surveillance cameras in the area.
