Enzo Avitabile fet. Ligabue in 'Salvami', the second single that anticipates the new album of the artist
'Salvami', the second single from Enzo Avitabile's new recording project due out in September (album produced by the Neapolitan artist's Black Tarantella label and distributed by Believe), will be on the radio and on all digital platforms starting July 29th.
In the song Enzo Avitabile (author of the lyrics and music) duets with another of the most important representatives of Italian music: Luciano Ligabue.
“'Save me' – explains Enzo Avitabile – It is the song of a man who from the depths of his migrant soul rises above the miseries and hopes of everyday life. It is the man who recognizes himself in another man, the same conditions, the doubts, the fears, the dreams, the desires. It is a child who holds out a hand towards a golden shore. It is the whole of humanity that asks every single man to save it, respect it, take care of it. Save me is not just a song, but a blade of grass that breaks the concrete”.
It can't be like this/ Let it all end here/ I'm not a new saint/ But I'm not comfortable with fire: a song that is almost a prayer, where the two voices blend together perfectly, exchanging emotions that blend into each other, in a sound that can easily be ascribed to the Neapolitan singer-songwriter. An incredible new collaboration, in short, after the one with Biagio Antonacci, who personally wrote 'Fatti miei' for Enzo Avitabile, in another surprising duet.
