Nola. The investigations by Arpa Campania are still underway following the fire that last July 8th involved the municipality of Nola the warehouse of a food storage and distribution company.
The first and second sampling cycles of dioxins dispersed in the atmosphere have highlighted concentration values of dioxins and furans (PCDD+PCDF) lower than the reference values currently used by the scientific community. This was reported by Arpac, in a note.
As regards the pollutants monitored by the mobile laboratory located approximately 800 metres from the fire site in the municipal area of Saviano (such as benzene, toluene, xylene, carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides, ozone, PM2.5, PM10), "the measurements do not show trends influenced by the fire and have not in recent days highlighted any exceedances of the legal limits".
