Naples, at Palazzo Reale SummerFest an evening for Luciano De Crescenzo organized through his lifelong friends.
A special evening in honor of Luciano De Crescenzo, three years after his death in July 2019, has been organized to remember, through his lifelong friends and the anecdotes that unite many Neapolitans - Wednesday 27 July, from 21.00:XNUMX pm - the Neapolitan writer who was a director and actor, but also a philosopher.
The event will take place as part of Palazzo Reale SummerFest, the festival, under the artistic direction of Maurizio Costanzo, which will continue until July 30, 2022 in the Romantic Garden of Palazzo Reale in Naples.
“Throughout his life my father talked about Naples, or rather, he talked about his Naples, and he did so by drawing on philosophy, putting aside useless stereotypes – declared his daughter Paola De Crescenzo – And while he was telling it, as it happened with the works of Raffaele La Capria, Anna Maria Ortese and Giuseppe Marotta, that Naples became real. Today as yesterday, Naples reciprocates the affection that my father has always shown it and decides to tell Luciano De Crescenzo. He does so through the memories of his dearest friends and the embrace of the many who loved his works."
The response of the Neapolitans to the event, offered free of charge by the organizers, was important, with a very high number of tickets booked since the announcement of the evening.
