Today, following investigations coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Juvenile Court of Naples, soldiers from the Carabinieri Company Naples Vomero executed an order applying the precautionary custody of a 17-year-old Neapolitan boy for community placement.
The investigations have uncovered a serious set of circumstantial evidence regarding the commission of three violent robberies committed on the evenings of June 30, July 4 and 6, during which, knife in hand, he forced young victims to hand over money and cell phones, fleeing on the back of a stolen scooter.
The measure originates from a timely investigation conducted by the Operations Unit of the Carabinieri Company "Napoli - Vomero", started on July 6, when the minor - after a daring escape on a scooter - was stopped and reported for an armed robbery, perpetrated that same evening against a young engaged couple; on that occasion, two of his adult accomplices were arrested.
