Weather Naples and Campania, with the rain and the drop in temperatures today it seems like autumn has arrived meteorological.
But that is not the case because from next week the sun and the heat will return to half of Italy and in particular to Southern Italy, including Campania. Andrea Garbinato, Head of the editorial staff of the website www.iLMeteo.it, confirms that the first day of meteorological autumn will be characterized by frequent rains especially in Emilia Romagna and in the Center, moving from the Tyrrhenian regions to the Adriatic ones.
Widespread showers also in the South where the weather is expected to temporarily, but widely worsen. Friday 2 September should see a truce, a word that comes from the Gothic 'triggwa' and means 'pact or contract': during the weekend the first autumnal Atlantic disturbance will arrive with widespread and persistent rains towards the Centre-North. In short, we will have an autumn-like context at least until Sunday.
But here is the Crazy Summer 2022 that wants to surprise us again: already over the weekend in the South and during the next week in much of the country, high temperatures and lots of sun could return for several days, to the delight of late vacationers who would enjoy optimal September weather conditions.
In detail, today in Naples and the province, a mostly rainy day with possible thunderstorms. Thunderstorms and clearings in the morning, intermittent showers in the afternoon, partly cloudy or hazy skies in the evening. During today, a maximum temperature of 28°C will be recorded at 15 pm, while the minimum at 8 am will be 21°C, the lowest freezing point will be at 3790m at 17 pm and the lowest snow level, 3260m, at 8 am.
