Naples, 180 Citizenship Income Recipients Working on Public Green Maintenance

The basic training "Safety at Work" promoted by the Municipality of Naples has ended for another 30 income recipients who, starting next week, will be introduced to the two ongoing projects to support the maintenance of the city's greenery.

The projects are: support for maintenance activities of flowerbeds, tree fountains, flowerbeds, equipped areas and small parks under municipal jurisdiction; support for maintenance activities of the horizontal green area of Hub Soccavo.

“To date, we have approximately 180 recipients hired (average age 35) working in the city and we expect to soon reach the number of 360 that the projects envisaged for 2022, while we are working on a new project that in 2023 will bring the total number of recipients to be hired to support the maintenance activities of the horizontal greenery to 500”, declares the councilor for green areas of the Municipality of Naples Vincenzo Santagada.
