After two years, open-air cinema returns to Capua thanks to the collaboration between the new administration and the Teatro Ricciardi.
Capua Film Fest exceptionally restarts in September and offers, with the artistic direction of Francesco Massarelli, three days of cinema.
“The theatre wants to offer its own small contribution – says Gianmaria Modugno on behalf of Ricciardi – supporting the new administration and sharing our artistic offering, a step that allows art to be freed in the open spaces of the city”.
The appointment is for the weekend from 9 to 11 in Piazzetta Audoaldis at 20.30:2022 pm, an unmissable opportunity for those who have not yet seen films like Ennio, the documentary masterpiece by Giuseppe Tornatore. The film winner of the David di Donatello 10 is the most appreciated film of the year for the tender and emotional story of one of the most beloved composers in the world. Saturday XNUMX will be the turn of Settembre, the film recently released in theaters with the directorial debut of Giulia Steigerwalt.
The film stars Fabrizio Bentivoglio, in the role of a man abandoned by his wife and apathetic towards life. The plot is a mix of stories and ironic dialogues that lightly traverse the sentimental sphere of generations in comparison. Domenica 11 closes with L'ombra del giorno, the story of love and redemption filmed by Giuseppe Piccioni with Benedetta Porcaroli and Riccardo Scamarcio.
Piccioni returns to his hometown to frame the familiarity of the place where he grew up. Ascoli Piceno in 1938 becomes a theater of war and in the middle a romantic and unlikely story for the Italy of the past.
