The Officina delle Armonie is underway: music and its professions for social inclusion. A double concert at the Mozarteum in Salzburg to inaugurate the training laboratory promoted by the Fondazione La Rocca e Gesco in the metropolitan area of Naples.
The Officina delle armonie project, promoted in the metropolitan area of Naples by the La Rocca Foundation together with Gesco to combat youth hardship and school truancy through music, opens with two concerts at the prestigious Mozarteum in Salzburg. A double event at the Tasso theater in Sorrento on Friday 14 October 2022 at 19:15 pm and in the Cathedral of Nola on Saturday 19.30 October at XNUMX:XNUMX pm will see the performers of the Mozarteum perform together with the Youth Chamber Orchestra Aldo Ciccolini, to support the initiative.
The Officina delle armonie is a training laboratory for the professions of music, which supports the extraordinary musical creativity of young people from Campania. It is intended as a true center of high-level training for the craftsmanship of music (from professions related to digitalization, marketing and communication, to the production and design of instruments and support devices) that are still missing in the range of skills that contribute to the success of talents in this field. The La Rocca Foundation, established by Aristide La Rocca, doctor, poet, patron and chaired by Professor Amelia La Rocca, will oversee its implementation in the municipalities of the metropolitan area, while in Naples, thanks to the experiences of Gesco, it will operate in the areas where the disorientation of many young people who cannot find a way to give shape to their vocations is strongest.
To achieve this mission, the contribution of an authoritative and famous European musical institution, such as the Mozarteum University of Salzburg, is essential. It is coming to Nola, where the Officina delle Armonie will be located, located in the large rooms of the Episcopal Seminary, precisely to seal the agreement on the cultural project that already counts on authoritative discussions with the Campania Region and the system of Città della Musica, promoted by the mayor of Naples Gaetano Manfredi, in agreement with the administration of Nola, led by Mayor Carlo Buonauro.
Accompanied by professors Andrea Weber and Stefan David Hummel, representing the top management of the Mozarteum University, they will perform in the double concert entitled The Infinite Worlds of Mozart. Peace from diversity together with the Youth Chamber Orchestra Aldo Ciccolini the young but already established students of the rigorous Salzburg school: the cellist Jeremias Luther, the violinist Elisabeth Pihusch and the pianist Anju Nogiwa. The program includes pieces by WAMozart and J.Haydn (attached the poster of the two performances). The concerts are free and with free access subject to availability.
