The Charlot Award will also be present at the 2022 edition of the TTG in Rimini, the Italian reference event for the promotion of world tourism in Italy and for the marketing of Italian tourism offerings in the world.
"We have now reached the 35th edition of our festival, the only one in the world dedicated to Charlie Chaplin and the only one to have been authorized by the family of the great "tramp" to use his image and his name. Over the years we have grown, managing to make our festival dedicated to the world of comedy, an international festival that not only works to search for new comic talents, but also rewards and promotes in the Salerno area the great excellences of cinema, theater, television, music, literature and Italian and international radio.
Now we look ahead, and we aim to make the Charlot Award the flagship event of the city of Salerno. This is why we have decided to participate with the Municipality of Salerno at the TTG in Rimini. In the three days that will begin on October 12 and end on October 14, we will be present with our delegate, who will have the task of exhibiting and promoting the Charlot Award, also illustrating some of the new features that will be in place for the 35th edition, scheduled for July 2023”, comments the creator, founder and artistic director of the event Claudio Tortora.
But in the stand that will be occupied by the Municipality of Salerno there will not only be the Charlot Award…
“The person we delegated – continues Tortora – will have the task of promoting and presenting two entities that have always supported our event, namely the Teatro Delle Arti, which hosts the cinematographic section of the Charlot Award, and the Compagnia Del Arte, directed by Antonello Ronga, which has been dedicated to the Charlot Monello section for years now, offering events dedicated to the little ones at each edition. On this occasion, both for the Delle Arti and for the Compagnia Dell'Arte, not only will we talk about the collaboration with the Charlot, but we will also present the 2022/2023 theater seasons”
