After the preview on AskaNews, the video clip of “Out of water”, Jaboni's fourth single for Gil Produzioni, already in rotation on the radio and on all digital platforms since October 7th, is available on YouTube.
Directed by Fabrizio Nardocci and starring actress and dancer Gaia Soprano together with Jaboni himself, the video clip of “Out of water”, shot on the suggestive beach of Sabaudia, conveys the deepest meaning of the text in images, telling a story of incommunicability and regrets, so common to so many others that it could represent a thousand.

“Staying afloat in everyday situations can seem impossible, so much so that the easiest thing would seem to be to go with the flow that wants to drag us down.” – Jaboni explains – “And so everything that our eyes see becomes very far from reality, everything that our hands hold turns into a pile of appearances that hides submerged worlds.”
Jaboni wants to bring about a deep reflection on human relationships, today often experienced quickly, on paying attention to those signals, explicit or not, that the people around us send us every day and that we are not always ready to grasp due to the changes and turmoil that involve us.
Sometimes abandoning yourself and letting go in the difficulties that life puts before us seems like the easiest solution. “Out of water” addresses the issue of the lack of communication between people who are physically close but spiritually light years away. We find ourselves submerged by insurmountable obstacles so much so that reaching out to allow someone else to help us get back up seems impossible. On the other hand, it can become difficult to intercept that request for help and that pain experienced firsthand by those around us.
As in the iconic fresco of the Creation of Adam by Michelangelo, between those fingers immortalized by the painter as they are about to touch, there is an empty space to be filled so that they can truly come into contact with each other. A sacred and suspended space that represents that creative act and trust in life, which only man can perform, capable of giving birth to new worlds made of relationships still unexplored.
The song is characterized by that electro-pop sound, of international inspiration, that distinguishes the artist's style, a perfect fil rouge with the previous singles. Melodic research, experimentation and influences of different musical genres create ever new and suitable imaginaries, through sound, to transform into hope the emotions, not always positive but concrete and real, of which the text speaks.
