Operation Land of Fires in San Felice a Cancello, the Carabinieri of the local station, following specific initiatives aimed at countering the toxic fires, proceeded with the criminal seizure of hazardous special waste that was lying on part of a larger agricultural land without a fence.
In the affected area, of approximately 200 square meters, the military found asbestos cement, tires, parts of household appliances, wooden and ferrous materials.
Investigations are underway to trace the owner of the agricultural land and identify those responsible for the environmental damage.
The military will continue in the next few days the control operation in the area of Terra dei Fuochi on the border between the provinces of Naples and Caserta, the most tormented in the last twenty years
