Pozzuoli: 4 robberies committed, 2 attempted. The Carabinieri execute precautionary measure
This morning the Carabinieri Company of Pozzuoli executed a custodial order in prison - issued by the GIP of the Court of Naples on the proposal of the local Public Prosecutor's Office - against De Monte Antonio, seriously suspected of having committed, in the month of February of this year, four robberies and of having attempted two to the detriment of some fuel distributors in the Pozzuoli area.
The investigative activity, conducted by the Pozzuoli Carabinieri Station, has allowed them to acquire serious evidence of guilt against De Monte for having arrived at the aforementioned fuel stations on a scooter, with his face covered and armed with a gun, and then violently and threateningly stealing the daily takings from the victims, for a total of just over two thousand euros.
In March, the Carabinieri had executed a further precautionary measure order issued against the same suspect by the GIP of the Court of Naples for similar crimes, a measure for which the aforementioned was already detained in the Poggioreale prison.
