A few hours of happiness for patients who at that age should only know that kind of feeling.

The harsh reality, however, has placed these children in front of important challenges that are often fought daily thanks to the help of strong-hearted parents and thanks to the high professionalism of doctors and nurses.

This morning in Pozzuoli, a wonderful event was held in the pediatric ward of the Santa Maria delle Grazie hospital. The Carabinieri of the Pozzuoli Company purchased toys and delivered them to "Casper," a volunteer association based in Quarto d'Alba, which provides various care services and entertainment for children in pediatric hospitals.

The members of Casper and the Pozzuoli Carabinieri ideally dressed up as Santa Claus a few days early and distributed gifts to the little patients, receiving in return the most precious of smiles. Doctors and nurses of the department, true guardian angels for the children, were obviously present at the delivery of the gifts.
