“The tourist port of Castel Volturno is a strategic work for the Domitian coast and for the entire province of Caserta: I reiterated this during today's question time in the Region.
The infrastructure would allow for the redevelopment and relaunch of an area of 765 thousand square meters, making it central to an economic and tourist development project that could represent a real turning point for the coast".
This was stated by the regional councilor of the Italia Viva group Vincenzo Santangelo on the sidelines of today's question time session.
“Between quibbles and bureaucracy, the area has been completely at a standstill for about ten years with all the consequences that this entails. I am pleased to note the will of the Campania Region - adds - expressed by Councillor Marchiello to continue to focus decisively on infrastructure.
Now, however, it is necessary for businesses and institutions to work together to unblock this impasse in the interests of the territory".
